Born in Buffalo, New York, Anthony Sidoni (1919-2012) was a self-taught artist with amazing natural talent. He began by drawing portraits as a child and his skill was soon recognized by the renowned Italian Oil artist, Tony Sisti, who gave Anthony several lessons at the local community painting class. In the late '60s, Anthony exhibited art in an art show alongside famed artist Julian Ritter and later received his first one-man show in Jane Freeman's gallery. It was after this that Anthony gained vast international recognition. He lived and painted in West Hollywood, California and he was voted "Artist of the Year" in 2000 and 2001. (Source:QArt)
